friends are not people to drop once you get a boyfriend or girlfriend.
friends are not a phase of childhood that you grow out of once you become an “adult” due to having a romantic relationship.
friends are not empty vessels for you to dump your romantic problems onto.
cultivate your friendships. hold onto them. love them. because if what you have with your partner doesn’t work out, you may not find those friends to go back to.
so as this post says, if you’r finding your blog is all jumbled, old posts popping up to the front, new posts not showing up at all, etc it is because of those posts being flagged and then unflagged. all you have to do is open them to edit and save them again and they’ll go back.
i just wanted to make this separate post to add that once you do that all your new posts will go back to being visible at the top of your blog as they should be i just did it and now everything’s fine on my blog.
Odds are you are now that author’s favourite reader and they have you specifically in mind when they write because they’re looking forward to your reaction to it 😀

Holy shit my ADHD is on full force tonight. My fucking mind is racing and jumping from thought to thought like a fuckin frog on cocaine. Meanwhile, my body is just screaming for sleep.

It’s past 3 in the morning and I can’t sleep and Jesus fuck, I am in so much fucking pain. Like I can’t even read on my phone because holding my phone up is killing my wrist and fingers. I’m so tired and I hurt and I just really want to sleep but I can’t. And I can’t distract myself. I really just want to sit and cry. But knowing my fucking body, that’ll end up giving me a headache from fucking hell.

I actually feel sorry for the likely unpaid intern sitting at tumblr HQ dealing with all our bullshit and snark while those actually in charge watch the world burn from a safe distance and blame it on us damn kids not buying more products. Because ultimately this is what this about. Verizon needs to make money from Tumblr, and Verizon can’t make money cause Apple says “no adult content” and Apple has a stranglehold on the app market.
The fact that a lot of us use tumblr to host our own services and products as independent creators, often as our only source of income, is irrelevant to them. The fact that to many of us this is our community is meaningless to them. We’re acceptable collateral damage to furthering corporate greed and that’s the fucking tea on that.
Also to the hypothetical unpaid intern: leave, sweety. You can do better, and you’re worth so much more.
